Tuesday the 17th according to all the fortune tellers, no matter their specialty (crystal ball, tarot, zodiac signs etc) WILL be a DIFFICULT day for TRANSPORTATION!!!!!!

Guys, please be aware! This is not like some random guessing about the end of the world… These are true facts!

Tomorrow there will strike in all the means of transportation in Athens.  And to be more specific:

The metro (RED and BLUE line) will NOT operate.

The GREEN line WILL operate from 9:00 till 21:00

The BUSES will operate from 7:30 till 22:00

The TRAM will operate from 8:00 till 22:00.

The SUBURBAL RAILWAY will operate from 7:00 till 22:00.

And if you were planning to travel, well the RAILWAY (trains) will NOT operate from 10:00 till 13:00.

AUEB supports volunteerism

Hello our favorite Erasmus students!

The ones that will go to Crete will have a superb time at the biggest Erasmus event ever happening in Greece.

But what about the ones that will stay in Athens?

Once more, we have some super cool news for you!

Music, live, famous greek singers, and giving!

The volunteers’ team of the Department of Marketing and Communication, also known as “Get Involved” organized a live at AUEB in cooperation with ActionAid. The live will take place on Thursday the 12th of May at 17:30 pm.

…The live consists the end of a number of events that have been organized this year by “Get Involved” and ActionAid in purpose of gathering money so to support the village Giriki at Uganda.

New Museum of Acropolis OPEN!!!

Hello Erasmus,

We know that most of you are already back home… But, for those of you that you’re still in Greece enjoying the sea and the sun, you are very lucky cause you can visit the New Museum of Acropolis!!!

The Museum is open 8.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. daily, except of Mondays. Last admission is at 7.30 p.m.

If you wanna get to the Museum you can just get off at Acropolis metro station (red line). The main off street public entrance to the Museum is from the pedestrian walkway of Dionysiou Areopagitou Street.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The ticekt is only 1 euro and you can visit the Museum from Wednesday 24/06, before Wednesday only visitors with e-ticket can visit the Museum.
